Every project is scoped individually. The level of involvement at each stage is shaped around the build, the design team, and the operator or client. We work across four sectors, in the UK and overseas.
Complex new-build homes, heritage refurbishments, and design-led residential projects where automation needs to integrate with the architecture, the interiors, and the lighting design. We work alongside the appointed design team: architect, interior designer, lighting designer, M&E consultant. We manage the install with the project electrician.
Integrated retirement communities, retirement villages, and extra-care schemes. We work with developers, operators, and their design teams to deliver automation that supports residents, integrates with care and monitoring infrastructure, and meets the operational and lifecycle demands of long-hold assets.
Single-asset and multi-site build-to-rent schemes. We deliver standardised automation specifications that scale across units and across a portfolio, with resident-facing controls designed for low intervention and operator-facing systems that integrate with building management and the wider operational platform.
Premium commercial environments where automation supports the experience and the operation: lighting, climate, blinds, AV, access, and integration with the wider building services. We work alongside the design team and the operator to deliver a system shaped around the way the space will be used.
Within Commercial, we work across a range of operator-led environments. Four where we're most often briefed:
Spas, treatment areas, hydrotherapy environments, and sensory spaces. KNX manages lighting, climate, humidity, audio, and access across rooms with very different operational requirements, brought together under a single control system.
Court lighting, climate, access control, audio, and energy management across single-site and multi-court facilities. KNX integrates with court booking systems and operator platforms, supporting both the player experience and operational efficiency.
Restaurants, bars, hotels, and members' clubs. Scene-based lighting that adapts through the day, climate zoning across front and back of house, AV integration, and guest-facing controls where required. Bespoke is shaped around the operator's brand and the way each space is used.
Premium gyms and studios. Zone-based lighting and climate across cardio, weights, class, and recovery areas, integrated audio, member access, and energy management. KNX supports the experience members come for and the operational realities of running the facility.

Baulogic Bespoke is structured to slot into the design team. We are the coowork with architects, interior designers, lighting designers, M&E consultants, fire engineers, accessibility consultants, main contractors, project managers, and the project electrician. We attend design team meetings, issue documentation to the M&E consultant, and respond to design queries throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation is issued in formats that align with the rest of the design team's output: drawings, schedules, integration matrices, and control philosophy documents.
KNX is the international open standard for building automation. Its longevity, hardwired reliability, and freedom from proprietary lock-in make it the right protocol for projects with long hold periods, complex integration requirements, and specifier-led specifications.
